2/17/2024 0 Comments Dallas cowboys game play by play(Editor's note: Joshua Dobbs, not Willis, is expected to start at QB on Thursday against Dallas. Malik Willis still can change the trajectory of his season.Hilton more action and figuring out their best cornerback options with the playoffs fast approaching. The Cowboys do still have some personnel matters to work out, such as giving wide receiver T.Y. It will be interesting to see whether Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy starts pulling key players if Dallas gets a sizable lead. There doesn’t seem to be too much concern about Parsons. LB Leighton Vander Esch (neck) has already been ruled out this week. Defensive ends Demarcus Lawrence (foot) and Sam Williams (concussion) also appeared, but have no game statuses. On Tuesday, Micah Parsons was a surprise addition to the injury list he was limited in Tuesday’s practice with a hand injury and is also questionable to play. The Cowboys have a few notable injuries, including Tony Pollard, who is listed as questionable with a thigh injury but will not play. The Titans aren’t the only banged-up club. Expect to see some unfamiliar faces for Tennessee in this one. The Titans will also be without defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons (ankle), perhaps their best defender. They include running back Derrick Henry (hip) linebackers Denico Autry, Dylan Cole, Zach Cunningham and Bud Dupree starting offensive lineman Nicholas Petit-Frere and defensive backs Kristian Fulton and Amani Hooker. “Those we’ll have to look at.” Other than quarterback Ryan Tannehill, whose ankle injury is expected to keep him out at least through the regular season, there are other critical Titans players who are expected to rest. “I think we’ll have to prepare this week and see where guys are on Wednesday and even Thursday before we ultimately make a decision and see who you feel like could have a setback or who could need some time,” Vrabel said. It appears that he’s considering the pros and cons of doing just that. Will Mike Vrabel opt to rest some Titans players on Thursday? If there was a surprise this week, it was that the occasionally ornery Vrabel didn’t swat away questions about resting players in this fairly meaningless game. Here are four things to watch for when the Titans host the Cowboys on Thursday on Prime Video: It’s not often when two teams in the playoff hunt meet this late in the season and the one with the (far) worse record has considerably less on the line than the better club does, but here we are. It will be tough for Dallas to earn the NFC’s top seed, but there’s a path: winning the NFC East, plus having the Vikings and 49ers each drop at least one game over the next two weeks. The Cowboys can do their part by winning Thursday and in the finale at Washington and have the Eagles lose their final two at home to the Saints and Giants. But they still technically have a lot to play for.ĭallas is guaranteed to be no worse than the NFC’s fifth seed, but the NFC East crown and No. The 11-4 Cowboys are already in the playoffs, having beaten the Eagles in a spirited, back-and-forth win Sunday. In other words, the Titans could lose six straight by dropping Thursday’s game against Dallas and still get in. The winner of that contest will win the AFC South and host a playoff game. Titans head coach Mike Vrabel understands that his team’s chances of making the playoffs really come down to what happens in the Week 18 game at the Jacksonville Jaguars. Sunday’s loss to the one-win, one-tie Houston Texans in Nashville, however, might have represented the low-water mark of the Titans’ recent skid.Īnd yet this game is semi-irrelevant to their playoff hopes. The 7-8 Titans will host this game amid a freefall, losers of five straight and three of those games by double-digits. Now it’s a game where one team can rest some players if it so chooses - but it’s likely not the team you think. Not long ago, Thursday’s Dallas Cowboys-Tennessee Titans game figured to have critical playoff ramifications. WHERE: Nissan Stadium (Nashville, Tenn.). 2/17/2024 0 Comments Warmer climes hype machineSainz and Kvyat returned to Sepang for revenge a month later, splitting the wins between them in a quadruple-header, but Bradley also went on to defeat Sainz once more for a win on his adopted streets of Singapore. It was a similar story in race two, with Sainz actually slipping to fourth place at the end and finishing just ahead of Kvyat. The 18-year-old beat Sainz to pole position by nearly half a second and then opened up a four-second advantage during the 10-lap race, setting the fastest lap in the process. The two young bulls must have fancied their chances of a win on their car racing debuts, but so clearly did British karter Bradley, who had headed east and picked up a racing licence from Singapore for his step into single-seaters with Eurasia Motorsport. After Red Bull signed Carlos Sainz Jr and Daniil Kvyat to its junior team for an assault on FBMW Europe with Eurointernational in 2010, it took them along to the Malaysian Grand Prix in April for a bit of early practice. When Bianchi stepped up to the F3 Euro Series for 2008, Mortara edged Bianchi by by 2.5 points to be championship runner-up behind Nico Hulkenberg.Īsia’s Formula BMW equivalent might not have been as prestigious as its European counterparts, and Bradley never even got close to F1, but two of the drivers he beat convincingly on his single-seater debut certainly did. Incidentally, his second and third places on debut were a repeat of what Edoardo Mortara had achieved in the possibly more-competitive Italian championship at Mugello a year earlier. Bianchi then dominated the following round at Ledenon to take a championship lead he wouldn’t surrender. In race two he finished third and set the fastest lap. But Bianchi missed pole for the first race by less than a tenth of a second, then finished just over a second adrift of Arzeno in race one, and seven seconds clear of third-placed Tristan Vautier. In the first round at Nogaro, he couldn’t pick up a win, with both races going instead to the more experienced Matthieu Arzeno. Spotted in karting by Nicolas Todt, a 17-year-old Bianchi was placed in Formula Renault 2.0 in his native France for his first season of single-seaters with the SG Formula team. That proves how difficult Formula Renault has been for direct graduates of karting to get to grips with, and we begin our list with a driver that did at least come close to a debut win. It’s difficult to find anybody besides Vidales who’s won in a proper Formula Renault championship (at the main two-litre level) in Europe on their first weekend in a single-seater: Ben Barnicoat won an Autumn Cup at Rockingham in 2013 in a field of of six cars, while Antonio Fuoco’s debut Formula Renault Alps win earlier that year was preceded by outings in the PanamGP Winter Series, just as Max Verstappen and Lance Stroll made their debuts in the Florida Winter Series a year later. It got Formula Scout thinking about the best single-seater debut weekends this century, and we’ve picked out 10 of them below. Just as impressive as his speed was how he handled race starts, restarts and pace management under the pressure of a race weekend. Three times a runner-up in CIK-FIA international karting events, the 18-year-old Spaniard has had to wait for his car racing break, having first tried out for the Ferrari Driver Academy in Formula 4 machinery four years ago.įollowing a late switch to Formula Renault from the Formula Regional European Championship and missing the first round at Monza, Vidales grasped his opportunity at Imola, making the most of the quick package provided by JD Motorsport. The double win by David Vidales in his first Formula Renault Eurocup weekend at Imola is arguably the most impressive single-seater racing debut in recent history. 2/17/2024 0 Comments Funeral eddie albertThere he met his forever sweetheart Shirley, and they married Januin Trochu, Alberta. 2/16/2024 0 Comments Premed95 mcat ankiI watched their videos for anything that didn’t make sense just from reading the document. The 86 pg Khan Academy doc for psych was more comprehensive than any book that I looked at. My chem/phys section had no questions about batteries and had multiple questions about magnets so that goes to show you that high-yield doesn't really mean shit. High yield just means it's likely that you will get ONE MAYBE TWO questions on this. There are over 200 questions on this exam. I would suggest ignoring the High-Yield tags. Maybe something has changed since then, but I used books that were 4 years "out of date" and it wasn't a problem for me. My friend got the 2019 books and I didn't notice any real significant differences between the 2015 books and them. I have zero brand loyalty, but I liked the images in the books and found them helpful. I just would think "okay i need to convert to this and then use this equation." These cards are more to test the thought process. I didn't actually sit down and work those out when they came up.
2/16/2024 0 Comments Red frost emu bushIf planted in areas with wetter soils, let the soil dry out between watering to prevent root rot. Valentine does best with regular irrigation and soils with good drainage. Caring for Valentine Bush with Proper Maintenance Their leaves turn maroon at the tips during the winter adding some fall color to the landscape. It does best when planted in full and reflected in the sun. When not in flower, Valentine is still very attractive and is hardy to 15 degrees F. A Shrub that Has Year-Round Attractiveness I pair it with groundcovers such as blackfoot daisy (Melampodium leucanthum) or trailing rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis), and perennials such as Parry’s penstemon (Penstemon parryi) and desert marigold (Baileya multiradiata). Valentine grows at a moderate rate and will reach a mature size of 3-4 feet high and 4 feet wide. Red is often a color missing in the desert plant color palette that this shrub provides. Valentine provides much need color in the landscape during the winter months and will bloom through early spring. An interesting fact that many may not know is that many of the arid-adapted plants that thrive here are native to Australia, including the species Eremophila. Nowadays, you will find Valentine in both commercial and residential landscapes. I love their cool-season blooms, which add a welcome splash of color when many plants aren’t blooming, and the dark green foliage continues to add beauty to the landscape even when their flowers fade. Those new shrubs did so well that a couple of years later, I had planted over fifty of them planted all around the golf course. Young Valentine, six months after planting, next to Trailing Rosemary. Never one to pass up free plants, I was more than happy to try these new shrubs out. My first experience with this colorful shrub occurred in 2000 when I was offered two free Valentine shrubs to test out on the golf course where I was working. The Perfect Shrub for the Desert Southwest A Promising Valentine Bush Introduction 2/16/2024 0 Comments Iphone 12 v 13Our testers did not spot any unwanted focus breathing either. Autofocus performance has been pushed as well, thanks to better tracking a very smooth refocusing at the right moments. Tone mapping instabilities that were very visible on the iPhone 12 series model have been fixed and exposure is now generally very stable. The outstanding Video score of 119 puts the iPhone 13 Pro at the very top of this sub-ranking, thanks to several improvements in key areas. The camera’s Zoom score of 76 isn’t quite up there with the very best but performance has still been improved over the 12 Pro, thanks to the longer 3x optical zoom versus 2x on the older model. It looks like Apple’s camera engineers have managed use the new sensor’s bigger pixel pitch to improve detail preservation but, like on the 12 Pro, luminance noise is still visible in most shooting situations. Overall Photo performance is quite similar to the 12 Pro we tested last year but improvements have been made in several areas.Ĭolor and contrast have been improved on backlit portraits and images show higher levels of detail, especially when shooting under typical indoor conditions. Like for all iPhones color rendering is vivid with nice skin tones and a slightly warm touch and the camera is generally very reliable, consistently producing high-quality images in all shooting situations. The overall score is compounded by an excellent Photo score of 144. With a DXOMARK Camera overall score of 137 the Apple iPhone 13 Pro mingles among the very best devices in our camera ranking. Sharpness differences between video frames and strong residual motion in video that is recorded while running. Some loss of texture in video, especially on faces in daylight and indoor conditions. Lens flare and ghosting, especially in low light video.Occasional pink white balance casts in some conditions and some white balance variations in videos.Limited detail in long-range zoom shots.Artifacts including flare, slight ringing, and color quantization.Limited dynamic range in challenging high contrast scenes.Luminance noise on primary, ultra-wide and tele, especially in low light.Cinematic mode for recording videos with shallow depth of field (1080p at 30 fps).Tele: 12 MP sensor, 77mm equivalent f/2.8-aperture lens, OIS.Ultra-wide: 12MP sensor, 13mm equivalent f/1.8-aperture lens, PDAF, 2cm macro.Primary: 12 MP sensor, 1.9µm pixels, 26 mm equivalent f/1.5-aperture lens, sensor shift OIS, Dual Pixel AF.Read on to find out how the all new iPhone 13 Pro camera performed in our DXOMARK Camera tests. Sensor size remains unchanged in the tele module but Apple has increased the focal length and the tele now offers a 3x optical magnification compared to the primary cam. The ultra-wide camera comes with a same-size sensor as last year but has gained a faster aperture and and a PDAF autofocus versus the fixed-focus lens on the iPhone 12 series. It also uses sensor shift OIS which last year was exclusive to the Pro Max device. The primary camera module features a larger sensor and faster aperture than on the 2020 models. They also share the same camera which has been improved in several areas compared to last year’s iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max models. However, both models are powered by Apple’s latest A15 Bionic chipset and come with up to 1TB of internal storage. The main difference to the top-of-the-line iPhone 13 Pro Max is the smaller 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display (versus 6.7-inch on the Max). The iPhone 13 Pro is the second model from the top in Apple’s 2021 smartphone line-up. |
